Introduce yourself: Take the initiative to acquaint yourself with patients/customer/colleague. Introduce yourself in a friendly and professional manner. While introducing yourself, remember to mention your position so that the patient/customer/colleague knows to whom he or she is speaking.
Make eye contact: During speaking, focus on the patient/customer/colleague instead of the surroundings or the computer.
